TW 1 Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company – Pharbaco was formerly known as TW 1 Pharmaceutical Enterprise, established in 1954. With a 64-year history of operation and development, Pharbaco has always affirmed itself as a leading enterprise, playing a key role in the national pharmaceutical development strategy: providing drugs for the military during the resistance and for national programs in tuberculosis and malaria prevention and control.

Pharbaco also brings together a large team of research specialists, pharmacists (including retired personnel) with expertise and experience in pharmaceutical production and business, as well as foreign experts (15 experts) from countries with advanced pharmaceutical industries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, Austria, Canada… In order to diversify pharmaceutical products, Pharbaco has collaborated with domestic research institutes and universities to launch new products, while also signing technology transfer agreements with foreign partners for production.

In addition, our company has invested over 1,000 billion VND to cooperate in production investment and technology transfer for high-quality products from benchmark countries.

Currently, to expand scale and further develop pharmaceutical products, the company has been and is co-investing in the construction of new drug production lines with modern machinery and production technology, specifically:

-         03 production lines with Germany,

-         03 production lines with the United Kingdom.

-         01 production line with Japan.

-         01 production line with the USA.

         Currently, the project is in phase 3, and is expected to be completed and operational in 2019. Once the project becomes operational, according to the agreement, 80% of the production capacity of the lines will be used for manufacturing and processing products for export to foreign markets.
