ISO 22000 is one of the international standards for food safety management systems. This standard was drafted and issued by the ISO Organization.
This standard is combined with ISO 9001 and HACCP to minimize risks and ensure safe food quality at all levels.
ISO 22000 is built on the accumulated experience from applying the recommendations of CODEX, drafted by the Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Health Organization in 1963.
In 2008, ISO 22000 was introduced as an international standard for food safety management systems and has the latest version updated in 2018.
